Well it’s that time of the year again! ALL STAR WEEKEND! In my opinion, it’s one of best times to watch the NBA. This weekend is just fun, humorous and just a great time to watch. My favorite events to watch are slam dunk contest, the celebrity game and of course the All-Star game. I look forward to these events the most! I love seeing new dunks or revisions to old ones. From Jordan’s air walk to Nate Robinson dunk over Dwight Howard, I have seen many All-Star dunks. Honestly, if I had to miss any of the events, I would make SURE that I definitely saw the All-Star Game.
Last year’s game was amazing to me. That game broke the record for points scored in any All-Star game. Kevin Durant was unstoppable; LeBron was well LeBron, Russell Westbrook was an absolute beast and the Dynamic Duo of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin showed them why they are the stars of Lob City. I can’t wait until Sunday to see who wins this year. Seeing the craziness of this season, I got my money on the Western Conference this year. With the loss of Rajon Rondo to the Eastern team I definitely think the West will win again.
Alas in other words I have to congratulate Kevin Hart for winning two straight MVP titles of the celebrity game and Kenneth Faried’s 40 point game in the rising stars challenge. I wish him luck in the Slam Dunk Contest!
